Dear friends,
It was wonderful seeing so many of you at
the 65th Anniversary Celebration
honoring Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg. We
congratulate Donna Hills and Madeline Silverman and their committee for their superb effort. In
honor of Assemblyman Weisenberg The Brotherhood is
contributing $2,000 to the Temple General Fund.
Please
make sure that your Temple Brotherhood dues are
paid and up to date. Are you waiting for a written
invitation? No
excuse! We sent those out in March. Dues are
only $40 for the year and your support enables us
to support programs for the congregation and the
children in our Hebrew School.
We are planning a Temple T-Shirt sale. If
you have an idea (and perhaps artisitic talent)
and would like to help create the logo design that
would be greatly appreciated.
Brotherhood activities do not stop for the
summer. If you’d like to help us plan for the
annual Temple Picnic at Wantagh Park in the early
fall please let me know.
